Cinnamon Apple Crisp
A delightful way to eat an apple a day

Sweet, tart, and full of heart. This dessert is as delightful as it is easy to prepare.
6-8 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup flour
½ cup oats
¾ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
4 oz coconut oil
¾ cup walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Grease a 9-inch round Pyrex pie dish with coconut oil.
Place sliced and peeled apples in bottom of pie dish.
In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and coconut oil. Mix well.
Add the walnuts and mix to combine. Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
